This bunny bread by Donna Currie on Serious Eats is so adorable. It's perfect for Easter and springtime, but it would also be a great thing to bake up for a birthday meal (for someone that loves rabbits).

I love dill pickles, and Bubbies is my favorite brand, by far. (Don't get me started on sweet pickles though. It suffices to say I am not a fan of those.) If I ever decide to make a batch of dill pickles, I will probably use this recipe, by Lindsey on the The Herbangardener. In the image above-right, she uses grape leaves to keep the cucumbers submerged in the brine. Garlic, dill, fennel, coriander, peppercorns, mustard seeds. Crunch crunch crunch!

When Heather Mann repinned this Easter-themed bento box idea from Wendy of Hello Bee, I had to stop what I was doing and read more. In the post, Wendy shows you how to make a perfectly molded egg using a bento bunny mold. Very cute and perfect for this weekend.

Paper and Salt is just the type of blog I like. Food + historical facts. Blog owner Nicole writes:
This blog will attempt to recreate the dishes that iconic authors discuss in their letters, diaries, essays, and fiction. In doing so, it will be part historical discussion, part food and recipe blog, part literary fangirling. Above all, I hope it will be delicious.

Seems like no matter where you are the weather has been pretty erratic lately, but according to Instructables user stickmop, it's possible to accurately predict the weather by simply watching the bubbles in your coffee.
When you pour the coffee into your cup, watch the bubbles. If the bubbles move to the edge of the cup rather quickly, that's a good sign. Expect clear skies for the next 12 hours. If the bubbles hang around in the center of the cup, get out your rain gear. You can expect rain in 12 hours. If the bubbles slowly move to the edge of the cup, you may get a bit of weather, but it should be clearing in a few hours. If you've managed to make a cup without bubbles, flop a spoonful of coffee back into your cup and make some more bubbles.
Whether it really works or not, it's a great excuse to help yourself to a cup of coffee and see what happens!

Rolos always make me think of my sister. When we were kids, they were hands down her favorite sweet treat. With the simple goodness of chocolate and caramel, it's no wonder she loved them so much. Seeing how Shelly of Cookies and Cups incorporated Rolos into a decadent fudge brownie recipe makes me think I've found a new treat to make the next time my sister visits ... [via @bakeat350tweets]

English muffins are one of my favorite breakfast treats (especially if they are served with a healthy dose of honey). I've got to try this english muffin bread from Jill of One Good Thing. It looks like an incredibly easy bread to make, and would be perfect to make on the weekend and have for breakfast all week long.

Anjelika Paranjpe shared this recipe and technique for turning plastic Easter eggs into delicious freezer pops. They used Gatorade and Vitamin Water for their fillings - not a bad choice!

It's that time of year when folks find all kinds of fun ways to repurpose holiday candies. Peeps are often a spring time delicacy used in alternate recipes and projects, but I'm really glad to see Cake Spy's twist on the Cadbury Creme Egg.
The bag lunch staple gets a sweet upgrade for Easter with this sweet trompe l'oeil sandwich, in which pound cake slices sandwich a "salad" comprised of yellow-tinted frosting studded with almonds and sliced Cadbury Creme Eggs, garnished with green coconut bits to resemble lettuce.
